Freelance dancer and performer based in Brussels.

Graduated at the Royal Dance Conservatory Mariemma in Madrid.

She began her professional career working with the choreographer Teresa Nieto.

Since 2016, she has worked with renowned choreographers and directors such as Wim Vandekeybus, Olivier Py, Christof Loy, Robert Carsen, John Yost, Francisco Córdova, Sidonie Fosse, Grzegorz Bral, Marie Martinez, Andreas Homoki, among others.

 

During her professional career she has taken part in numerous productions in different theaters such as Le Domino Noir at the Royal Opera Wallonië Liege (BE) directed by: Valérie Lesort and Christian Hecq. Gioconda and Les Huguenots at the Royal Theatre of La Monnaie/ De Munt (BE), Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse (FR), Manon at the Grand Theatre of Liceu (ES) all directed by: Olivier Py. Cavalleria Rusticana and Pagliacci at the Dutch National Opera & Ballet (NL) by director Robert Carsen. Bruid te koop at ReisOpera (NL) director: John Yost. Tannhauser, Rusalka, Arabella and Evgeny Onegin by renowned director Christof Loy, at Teatro Real in Madrid (ES), Semperoper in Dresden (DE), Palau de Les Arts (ES), Dutch National Opera & Ballet (NL) and Grand Theatre of Liceu (ES).

Currently, she is she have been working as an assistant choreographer at Opera National Paris (FR) with the director Damiano Michieletto and with Vincent Huguet at Palau de Les arts (ES) also performing in various productions with dance companies such as Song of the Goat (PL) by director Grzegorz Bral, Opinion Public Company (BE) directed by Sidonie Fosse and in the company Physical Momentum (MX) by director Francisco Córdova where she is currently a member of the productions Source and Be Careful What You Wish For.

 

Adding to her artistic career by participating in various workshops around the world with renowned artists such as: David Zambrano, Josef Frucek, Natalia Pieczuro, Francisco Córdova, Milan Herich, German Jauregui, Roberto Olivan, Isael Mata, Lali Ayguade, Rakesh Sukesh, among others.

 

Irene combines her professional career with knowledge of Physical Health she is certified as a Personal Trainer at the Institute of Health Sciences and Physical Activity ISAF.
